Workwear for Protection Against Hydrocarbon Flash Fire and Optionally Steam and Hot Fluids.This National Standard of Canada states the minimum requirements and test methods for performance of protective workwear worn for protection against unplanned exposure to hydrocarbon flash fire and optionally steam and hot fluids.
This standard applies to newly manufactured (ie. unworn) protective workwear that individually, or as a component of an ensemble, covers the body from the neckline to the wrists and ankles and may cover the head and neck.
